7.62х51 mm Machine gun MG-M2S on Support (tripod) is a powerful gas operated individual automatic weapon designed to be used against enemy troops & light armoured targets by firing in single and automatic mode.
MAIN FEATURES:
- Gas operated.
- Fire mode – single, automatic
- Chromium plated Barrel, manufactured by the method of cold radial forging, that resulted in bigger hardness and better structure of the material.
- Butt and Pistol grip, made of high quality and resistant fiber glass reinforced polycaproamide (FRP), not effected after heating by direct sun lights, corrosion and humidity resistance, light and firm.
- Feeding cartridges is done by a disintegrating metal belt, consisting of metal links M13 type, accommodated in a box of capacity 100 or 200 cartridges.
- The receiver cover is fitted with a rail for attachment of optical sight or night vision device. The shape and dimensions of the rail are according to MIL-STD-1913.
- The Machine Gun MG-M2S is equipped with folding, telescopic, 5-stage adjustable bipod, The MG-M2S is mounted on the tripod TAR-MG, without removing the bipod. The tripod is used to achieve more precision and efficiency of fire at air and ground targets, thus efficiency of fire is increased.
Optional Extras (Paid Separately):
- Blank fire attachment – suitable for training purposes, using Blank Cartridges;
- Upon Customer’s request, the Machine Gun can be provided with different numbers of ammunition boxes, as well as with 300-round ammo box to be used with tripod.
- Tripod TAR-MG, the name of the machine gun becomes MG-M2S. The tripod allows to conduct fire with Machine Gun at ground or low flying air targets, and thus the efficiency of fire is increased.
- The weapon can be equipped with additional Carrier with small Picatinny rail, for attachment of front handle.
- Front sight adjusting kit.
