It is designed to detonate the charge of the warhead of S-8KO and UAR-80VMZ unguided aircraft rockets. The fuze is piezoelectric, nose-base, with percussion-instantaneous and inertial action, distant arming, boresafe type. It is composed of two parts –  piezoelectric generator and safety and actuating mechanism.
