NSN: 1315
The smoke artillery rounds are intended for creating obscuring vertical and blinding screens and also for target marking and signalling in the battlefield.
The smoke artillery rounds can be used by day or night. At night they provide camouflaging of troops and back area objects in order to protect them from the enemy observation means, such as night-vision devices and artificial illumination aids.
