40×46 mm Round RLV-AD with Anti-Diver Grenade

The RLV-AD is an in-water operation round and is used for protection of ships and harbors against enemy frogmen.
The blast from the highly explosive composition creates a defeat effect within a 30 m radius and shock disorientation up to 100 m.

The rounds are designed to be fired from:

– Underbarrel Grenade Launchers:  UBGL-M6, UBGL-M7, UBGL-M16; M203;

FN GL1; HK269; AG36, and other launchers adopted to use lethal ammunition (combat types, e. g. – HEF, HEDP, AD, TB);

– Stand-alone Grenade Launchers: UGGL-M1, HK169; HK269; FN GL-S; M320; and other launchers adopted to use lethal ammunition (combat types, e. g. – HEF, HEDP, AD, TB);

– Multi-shot Grenade Launchers: Milkor Mark 1L; Rippel XRGL; MSGL-L, and other launchers adopted to use lethal ammunition (combat types, e. g. – HEF, HEDP, AD, TB).
